9.00am-5.00pm based between our Brighton & Lewes offices

Create Music is looking for an experienced full-time Music Centre, Concerts and Events Administrator to join our busy and dynamic team. The role requires a strong team player who is enthusiastic about working with children and young people; and who is responsible, highly organised and can demonstrate timely completion of agreed projects whilst remaining flexible. 

  You will need excellent ICT skills, with a real passion for delivering excellent event support within an educational setting.  Previous event administration experience is essential. You will liaise closely with Development & Partnership Managers, Music Centre Leads, partner organisations, young people and parents/carers, so you will need to deliver a high level of customer service and possess strong communication and people skills. 

The role will facilitate the smooth and safe operation of a range of events, working closely with Development & Partnership Managers with a particular focus on nurturing and showcasing young musicians and youth music programmes. You will administer and support events in their entirety, from the venue booking to support on the day so attention to detail and the ability to organise and prioritise your work effectively to set deadlines is crucial. This will also include raising awareness of Create Music events using social media platforms, supported by the Senior Marketing Officer and wider team.

Being solutions-focused and resourceful, with the ability to multi-task is essential.
