Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival is seeking two Café and Bars Duty Managers to join its highly successful bars team. The successful candidates will play a key role in the reopening of the refurbished Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre and our inaugural event Van Gogh Alive.

Working alongside the existing management team, the Café & Bars Duty Managers will be responsible for the running of day-to-day café operations and will, on occasions provide Duty Management cover for bar operations, ensuring effective delivery of Bars and Catering operations within Brighton Dome.

We are looking for confident and experienced professionals who combine excellent customer service with experience of running shifts in a café operation, including overseeing and training of team members. Applicants will need to have experience of food operations including knowledge of food safety procedures. An ability to drive sales in a café environment is essential. Experience of opening new sites and supervisory experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Candidates will be highly organised and methodical people who enjoy working with others but are happy to work independently.

Successful applicants will mainly work a varied shift pattern, including evenings and weekends. These are annualised hours contracts and so the number of shifts worked each week will vary in line with operational needs, but the monthly salary remains the same.
