Producer

3 days per week
Salary range - £28,840 - £32,679 per annum, pro rata

Fixed-term contract for up to 10 months
Hybrid working available

We wholeheartedly believe that the arts can change lives and are looking for someone to join us in that aim.  Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival offers an unusually diverse and exciting environment in which to work, particularly on the annual international Brighton Festival that takes place all over the city and its surrounding area for the month of May.

We are looking for someone who is collaborative and who has demonstrable experience of programming, producing within a fast-paced environment with experience in budget management, negotiating, overall scheduling, event delivery and coordination and programme administration.

The Producer will work closely with the Directors of Programming & Participation and Festival Executive Producer to realise the multi-artform programming of the Festival and year-round Dome programme.

This role is advertised as 3 days a week, but we are open to hearing from you if you are balancing other roles or freelance projects that might mean flexibility in your availability. This role includes significant focus towards Festival delivery, therefore requires attendance at festival meetings (on Thursdays), and to work full time hours around the festival delivery period (with Time Off In Lieu afterwards). We are happy to discuss flexible work patterns. Please note we are also open to someone applying for this on a freelance basis or who might want to take a sabbatical from their current role.  If you’d like to hear more about the role, you can email Luisa Hinchliff at luisa.hinchliff@brightondome.org for an informal discussion.
