Producer

2 year fixed-term contract (due to funding)

Full time (37 hours per week)

£32,800 per annum

We are a unique and special charity. Brighton Dome’s beautiful building and spaces present a huge range of artists and events all year round and are also the home for the annual Brighton Festival and Create Music.

We are looking for someone who is a great collaborator, with demonstrable experience of producing or programming within a fast-paced environment. The Producer will work closely with the Director of Programme and Festival Producing Director to realise and deliver the multi-artform programming of the festival and year-round programming, including budget management, scheduling, negotiations, internal liaison, programme administration, delivery and coordination.

We are looking for someone with the ability to work well with a diverse range of people, who has an inclusive practice, excellent communication skills, and excellent organisation and budget management skills.

As a multi art-form venue, we know people might come from a range of experiences – you might have in-depth experience of one artform, or a broader base across many. This role will work across the festival and year-round delivery, and we are keen to hear from people with experience rooted in theatre, dance and/or site-specific works (or a mix of them all).

Hybrid working is possible, however, there will be times such as festival and busy delivery periods when working on site is essential for the role. We are happy to discuss flexible work patterns.

If you would like to find out more about the role or are unsure your experience and skills speak to the role, please contact Luisa Hinchliff for an informal chat at luisa.hinchliff@brightondome.org

Closing date: 5pm, Monday 5th October 2026.

Interviews w/c 12th October 2026.

Brighton Dome & Festival values diversity promotes equality and challenges discrimination. We encourage and welcome applications from all backgrounds and all parts of the community, particularly ethnically diverse people who are currently under-represented. All applications are judged on merit.
