Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival is looking for an experienced Senior Finance Officer to lead the day-to-day financial processing within our Finance team. This hands-on role covers the full range of transactional finance, including accounts payable and receivable, promoter settlements, staff expenses, bank reconciliations, and treasury operations. To succeed, you'll need up-to-date knowledge of accounting procedures and financial regulations, along with proven experience managing financial ledgers with accuracy and efficiency.
You will need excellent advanced Excel skills and have strong experience using accounting software systems. You’ll supervise a small team of Finance Officers, ensuring all transactions are processed to a high standard and in line with internal controls. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with a strong background in transactional finance and excellent organisational skills, and attention to detail. You’ll be confident working independently, solving problems proactively, and supporting both the Finance team and wider organisation.
